It's important to trim your candle wick before each burn to keep your candle burning beautifully and safely.
 
Large and untrimmed wicks have hotter and larger flames meaning your candle will burn faster, therefore by trimming your wick before each use you can increase your candle burn time, reduce unsightly sooting and help your candle to burn safely. 
 
Wicks should be trimmed to approximately 5mm.
